Default '05 shifting issue.

Not sure if this is a transmission issue or maybe a torque converter issue. Occasionally, when I slow to almost near a stop and then accelerate, the truck revs before the transmission catches. Sometimes its an abrupt engagement. Depending on how heavy I am on the pdal. Also, when going from park or reverse to drive, it takes a couple of seconds for the transmission to engage as well. Again, once it does it could be an abrupt engagement, depending on how heavy I am on the pedal. When she's rolling otherwise, she seems fine, smoth shifting, no slips or anything odd at all. I had the transmission fluid changed at 100,000. miles. It now has 113,000. It wasn't a full flushing, just whatever came out of the pan. any thoughts or similar experiences? Thank you in advance gents.

Have the fluid level checked. If the filling procedure isn't followed properly, it is easy to be under filled. also make sure no new leaks cropped up, especially if the pan or sealing sleeve wasn't done.
