1990 Range Rover - new to RR, need help
My friend was given a 1990 RR. Yes, it was free to him.
The vehicle sat for years with infrequent use. I am a mechanic and went through the vehicle for him. It looks like it has been neglected for a few years, but not too far gone. It is badly in need of a tune up and has many oil leaks.
Is there a place I can get a service manual for this vehicle? Any online resources?
I am also having trouble locating some parts. First, I can't find the gasket that goes between the plenum and the intake manifold. I need to replace the valve cover gaskets so the upper intake needs to be removed.
Second, the seal between the reservoir and brake master cylinder is leaking. Anyone know if it is a simple o-ring or a special seal? Does anyone know where I can find one?
The oil level switch that is in the pan is leaking. Does anyone know a source for this part?
Thanks for any help you can give me. I am used to working on American and Japanese vehicles so I have a bit of a learning curve.

Go to ebay for the service mannual they have them on cd's pretty cheap.. as for parts I use Atlantic British @ www.roverparts.com they can also answer those other questions. They can be a little pricey but they stand behind their parts and are very easy to work/talk to.

amazon or indigo have the book for you or you could get it from paddockspares.com the engine is the old buick 215 so if the FI doesn't work a edelbrock carb and mainfold will do the trick faster too! plus parts are available at napa hope this helps they are pretty easy to work on
