Good luck with your fix man. Just like wolfpack said to reprogramm all your window and sunroof just roll them all the way down then up and hold the button on close position until our ipak says window set. and as far as remarrying your keys if you havent tried just put it in the door handle turn the key to unlock or lock and click the lock or unlock button several times and it should sync but it sounds like you have a remote and door latch problems those vehicle go into superlock wich means the door lock will jam itself and you cant get it open unless you brake it open. but sense you said you can lock it but not unlock it just seems like its having a signal misfeed from latch to bcm.

 

wow thanks guys! i just got the the handset in the mail today. since the last post the alarm fault is now back and it keeps saying that the bonnet is open.i have no idea what thats all about. im going to try to sync this new hand set hopefully itll work!

Do you guys usually go to landrover to get your new keys cut?

I thought i had problems with my 95 fd rx7. again your help is greatly appreciated im a rover newbie!

i will look into the misfeed from the latch to the bcm.. i hope thats the remote will just make things easier!

 

i think i made the mistake of buying remote off of e bay.... but now for some reason the key isnt able to lock or unlock the doors... great.

 

Is your lock cylinder still not turning fully clockwise and counter clockwise? If it can't then the vehicle will not recognize the key...you have to train the sucker.
