I have a 2003 Ranger Rover and the music just stopped producing sound one day! I've been told I need a new amp, the current model I have in there is XQK000030. Does anyone know where I can pick up a used one? I don't want to spend a fortune. Or do ya'll know of an aftermarket amp that I could use that would be compatible? Thank you for your help!!!

Have you tried roverparts.com yet? Ebay might be promising too. I would try reseting the car by unplugging the battery for awhile. Sometimes these things just need to be reset .

Recently I was able to test it and it works 100%. It just needs to be adapted/trained to the vehicle it will be in. Usually you can do this in an authorised service.

My amplifier just went out too! I tried out a UTLOEWE amp just now and it worked for a minute and...no sound again! The amp I tried out was from a 740iL w/out navigation. All plugs were the same, size was the same, but I guess I needed the BMW amp w/ navi. I am trying to cross reference Bmw's amp with ours. I'll notify you as soon as I find one. Dying w/out music. Let me know if you find one too.

 

The amp that worked for me was the DSP2 version on this page Range Rover BMW DSP Amplifier - USED -

It seemed that I had water damage due to leaking seals on the rear hatch so I recommend others check for water in the area as it can cause lots of issues
