New to the forum and I am using the search engine to find as much info as possible but thought I would ask everyone's opinion on a potential purchase. I am a member of a few auto/boat forums that have been great help to me in the past. I am extremely unfamiliar with LR products but have always admired their looks and "road stance" and now the wife really likes one so we are thinking about purchasing 2006 LR RR HSE supercharged with 20K - 30K miles and the ones we are looking at appear to be a in great condition. This car would be used as a DD and driven about 50 - 60 miles per day with some occasional family trips also.

Are there any known issues with this particular vehicle?
Is routine maintenance fairly easy to work on for mechanically inclined people? I ask because I see the LR dealers appear to "overcharge" on routine maintenance
Are these vehicles generally mechanically sound for 100K+ miles if maintenance schedules are followed?[/ul][/align]
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I know it's sometimes hard for people to be unbiased on the vehicles they prefer but I am looking for the "good, bad and the ugly" on these vehicles. I will continue to search the forum for all of the information I can absorb and maybe someday I can be a contributor too.
