Default 95 County LWB

Hello All - Need some advice/opinon. Looking at the purchase of a 95 RR County LWB with just over 100K miles on it. Can anyone provide insight on how "costly" it is to maintain this model (i.e. are parts hard to find, what about general upkeep)? Also are there certain things to "watch out" for? I will literally only drive the vehicle on weekends (no off roading at all). Commute to work by train during the week so no need to drive. Figure if i can get an additonal 75-100k miles out of it, it will be worth the purchase. Thanks.

It would be hard to classify a Rover as "cheap to keep" or "troublefree". It is their performance off road, and in tough conditions that make us put up with all the other issues. And expense depends on if you have a DIY driveway, or if you prefer to maintain with an open checkbook. The RAVE download has shop manuals, which include recommended maintenace, and owners manuals.

But since you will only need it on the weekends, that gives you five nights to get it ready again....

Thanks Savannah - its the "other isuues" im worried about. Dont have a DIY driveway and really not trying to have it in the machanics garage every other month. Was reading some of the other threads on the site and they are giving me reason to pause.
