look at it closely, inspect everything, put a price to everything you find.
do the $ add up? or are you better off starting with something in better shape.

95rrc parts are expensive and hard to find, some are one year only.

Where should you start? Do you want the brutal truth or not?

Let's hear the brutal truth, Paul. I was thinking of a RRC at some point myself. P38 is next, though. How would the problems stack up to any other of our favorite 4x4s?

Are you looking to buy one that is as trashed as the original posted?

Think of doing an engine conversion?

If your engine and tranny are toast, you could find cheaper and easier parts anywhere. Plus you could have a kick *** rover.

If it were an option, I'd do a diesel conversion myself and gain all the fuel economy.

Anything is possible. Id do some research and figure out your skill level and how much you want to get into it.

If you do some digging you will find diesel conversion's everywhere, check some out and figure what you want to do. Its not a question if it will fit, but how badly do you want it "The engine that is".
