It might also be worth repairing what you have... What is wrong exactly? Other than the previously listed items... Have you gotten the differential out?

OUCH. Your differential is going to need to be replaced... Replacing the rest of the axle might be in the cards like you said, but thats up to you. As for the caliper guides and bolts, those usually need to be replaced every time you take them off (I re-used mine SHHHHHH) If they slide nicely and the bolts aren't rounded off, you can probably reuse them. As for the piston boot... that looks like it needs to be replaced very quickly. Check out www.roverparts.com for the parts and pricing.

Well yes, that diff is toast. I checked roverland parts and they have the differential you need for $650. Or you can guy the whole axle for $850. I know that my local wrecking yard has an axle in there that I could check the pricing for you of you would like. It is the shipping that will still get you, if you can get just the diff it would be a lot less than the axle. If you did the axle though it should come with the brakes and everything else on it.

if you could find a diff at your local yard that'd be awesome. i'm not trying to be bossy but please be sure it's in good condition! I may look into a diff rebuild kit and see how that goes. as far as my brake system i'd rather just get brand new or rebuild parts instead of used ones. i know it's going to be pricy but hey that kind of stuff i will not hesitate to pay more for. LRSCOTT brought a good link up in his post. i priced brand new rotors/brake pads for a good combo deal along with new caliper guide pin kit for $204.90+shipping, still looking for OEM calipers probably will get that from the same site too. again thanks for all your help guys, i can't stress that enough.
