Default Accumulator Replacement Question

I bought a used accumulator to replace my existing one that quiet possibly is bad... Now I have gone through the how to on the rovers.net website, but I have another question? Since my used accumulator is empty (no oil) do I need to put some inside of it or just make sure to depressurize and replace. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanx

According to what I have read about it, you just screw the new one on.

It comes with oil to ensure the accumulator is lubricated and to prevent air pockets from forming in the system when you install the new one. The official procedures require that the system is bled but, many owners have found success when reinstalling the accumulator without bleeding the brakes.

So should I put brake fluid into the used accumulator before installing? Does anyone know how much oil the accumulator needs to have?
