Default Actual Temperature Gauge and where to put one on 4.2L Engine

Since the 1995 4.2L range rover doesn't have the ability to OBDII like UltraGauge, is there a vacant port on the engine to put a coolant temperature gauge, i.e. one that reads in degree...not like the idiot one on dash? Or do I have to sacrifice the dash sensor and will that mess up something related to the ECU?

install this in your upper hose and you can run whatever gauge you wish.
32 MM or 1 1/4 Inch Water Sender Attachment
