adding transmission fluid
Same tranny as a D2 I believe, if so you have to check, fill and drain the fluid thru the fill plug and or drain plug.
Start the engine when cold, shift to drive then reverse, then leave it running in park, crawl under and pull the fill plug from the tranny pan, if no fluid comes out, then add. If fluif starts to come out put the plug back in ASAP and you are set.

DiscoMike, funny this post came up because I was going to add a post similar. The transmission is almost done in my D2. What is the "fill procedure" for an empty transmission?
Thanks!

So you are saying that you had your's rebuilt or replaced??
If so, fill the pan, start the engine, go to drive and then reverse, turn of the tranny and repeat till you get your 10.3 quarts back in it.
