Default Aftermarket alarm??? Blinker wont go out!!!

OK fellas, I am brand new to the site with my first rover bought used today. It is requiring some elbow grease, but I am trying to get her running. The front driver blinker light will not turn off unless I take the bulb out. It does not matter if the car is on or off, or if lights are switched on or off. Anyone have any ideas??

Also The place to insert a key in the door is gone. No lock at all. I took the door apart and found that it has been formally removed.. All of it. Instead of risking my only cracked remote not going out while having doors locked, can i just get a new aftermarket alarm system and bypass all the nutty P38 problems of engine disable and cell tower interference?

I can buy a new aftermarket system with 2 remotes and be safe? I can get a top of the line system for the price of a factory repair.

The Rover alarms is probably one of the best ones offered and can't be expected to work when a lock assembly has been removed. Go get a new door lock assembly, which you need anyway and after it is installed get the system reset and you'll be fine.
