Are you sure its the pump? Does it turn smoothly? It might be your tensioner pulley that is causing this. I would check to ensure it is giving the correct tension and that the pulley wheel turns smooth too. Check the other components, turn them to see if they are smooth and don't have any noticeable creaks or binding.

well the only tensioner pulleys i have are on the AC compressor side and between the water pump and crankshaft. i have a small v belt between the pump and the alternator. what i did find yesterday is that i believe the IDIOT i bought this rig from put transmission fluid into the power steering pump reservoir as i found red fluid in there, i dont ever recall red power steering fluid??? i think i need to drain it and refill. my pullys were out of line by 1/16 of an ionch, not huge but sometimes thats enough. nowi have a hesitation around 50mph, check engine light is on, thinking its the o2 senso it will seem like it wants to die then off she goes again. cleaned the MAS yesterday, didnt help. and can i say WTF about this wiring issue.

RRC's use transmission fluid in the power steering, so the idiot put the correct fluid in there.
Dexron III to be exact, same as your transmission.
