Default Battery Drain on RR 2002 - Going to sleep after 31 mins

HI all. bear with me with my explanation for help as i am not a technically minded chap. I have had problems with battery drain and have had the battery and alternaotr tested and all were fine. I have looked at the forums and found that the red light by the P on the gear stick should go out after 2 mins? I sat in my car this evening and it went off at 31 mins. The little fan near the heater dials was going for the 31 mins and there was clicking coming from behind the dials as though it was trying to turn it off. Could this be the source of my problem. I have also tried to eliminate the garage door opener and wireless doorbell but they dont seem to affect it. I have removed the fuse for the radio as there was a suggestion that the CD place gets remembered from when you switch it off?? I only get about 3 days of not using it then the battery is dead again, resulting in me keep having to charge it up. It is starting to bug me now! Thanks for any advice, please keep it simple for me!!

Could be a incorrect or failed HEVAC resistor that controls the blower motor. Pull fuse 64 and see if that solves the problem. If not, it's not the resistor.
