How old is your battery? These Rovers tend to be pretty tough on batteries, and the recent cold weather here in NC could quite possibly have killed your battery off. Take the battery to AutoZone and get it tested for free. When the batteries start to go, they can cause all sorts of weird problems..

Get an Optima Yellow Top. They are amazing. I should get a cut of each sale--I recommend it so often here. I do that because I had constant discharge problems and Optima took care of them, and many experts on this forum have vouched for them. It's $250 or so, but worth having the confidence that there should be no issues with discharge anymore.

Prior to replacing the battery i would suggest checking for current draw with a amp meter! Should be some drain from clock, etc, but less than .5 amps or so. If there is a draw, start pulling fuses, relays, etc until you can determine what circuit has the issue. Per some other threads a bad alternator could also cause issues.

If no draw presnt it may be the battery...
