Default battery replacement

hi, i have a 2002 range rover hse 4.6. Whats the best battery replacement i currently have an interstate battery that has worked fine but is on its last leg. I went down to the local interstate dealership and the idiot broke my radiator pulling the battery out and then told me the battery that was called for didnt fit. So needless to say i dont want to give him another chance at breaking my car again. we only have autozones down here and they dont seem to list anything for a rover. thanks

I have a Duralast battery from autozone. They are relatively inexpensive, but are a great battery. The last one I purchased only lasted about 2 years, but it was killed about 10 times because it was an underrated battery for the car. For a battery to keep coming back like that, is pretty good. I went in and claimed my warranty and upgraded to the right kind of battery and the rover seems to respond better to it.

If you're keeping the car, I'd get a group 34 Diehard Platinum.

I just put one of those in my truck two weeks ago. It has been in the low teens and it starts better than my truck used to in the summer.

X3 for the DieHard.

Another option, I've had surprisingly good results with an Everstart from...ahem...Wal Mart...in my Jeep that sees winter duty.

I like Optimas , AGM, just about any high end battery. Some guys do not like the Optimas but I like the increased cranking amps for the hard starting Rangie.
