Can 19" Tires go on a 1999 Range Rover 4.0SE???
I recently bought a 1999 Range Rover 4.0SE with factory 16" wheels and tires. Along with the deal, I also received 4-19" Goodyear Wrangler HP tires with factory Range Rover Wheels (basically brand new). The car needs tires and these wheels and tires are perfect(brand new) and would look much better than the original wheels that are on there now. I tried to have them install on my '99 and the wheels did not fit. Does anyone know if there is anyway for me to get these wheels to work on this vehicle? On the inside on the wheel it's labeled Land Rover '02. There is also labeling saying E 8Jx19 EH2 IS 57 and also a DOT number of 6 751 305.1.
If anyone has done this ......were you sorry you did it after due to the ride and or noise?
Please advise.
Thanks as always

Can you explain further....maybe I'm not understand just what the hub centric rings do....don't they just allow you to perfectly balance (center) the wheel on the car. I couldn't even get these wheels : center hole and lug holes to line-up. Also, why would I need new lugs? Will I be changing the entire wheel mounting area and bolts? What did it say on the inside of the wheels that you installed....mine say Land Rover 02? Where did you purchase the necessary items you required?
Please advise.
Thanks

Note photos below - if the wheels are as on my P38, yes it will work but these are off of my 05 (which is now gone). I don't understand the wheels saying LR 2002 - that's either a set off of another model or something - because the nuts should match up. However, you did need hubcentrics (to fill the space between the wheel center and the hub) and the new lug nuts (to account for the difference in depth). My rings
came from overfinch -

It didn't make sense to me either but when the lugs didn't center in the holes of the rims I knew I was in trouble. I thought the rings will help if the lugs at least line up dead center in the holes of the rims....but that's not the case. This is a picture of the existing truck with factory rims and these are the rims I'm trying to put on.....any other suggestions will be helpful.

What is that, a 4.0 P38? What size wheels are those, are they 18's and you're looking to put on the 19's?
As you can see from my photo(s), it's entirely possible but you have to have a bolt pattern that matches up....the lugs themselves
(the one's you have) won't work - it will require the new one's to allow for the difference in depth of the wheels.
