climate control problem
I am still having the same problem with the snowflake and - 40 being displayed on the AC LCD. Not to mention that the AC still blows hot air and the compressor is also not working. Went to the auto parts store and picked up an AC pressure guage and a can of R-134. No luck. As soon as I put the guage on the low side it reads way in the red, about 90, and it won't take any refrigerant. I did replace the pollen filters so that should help if I can ever get the AC to start working. I believe the problem lies within the compressor or the clutch. The pulley turns and does not make any noise but it won't kick on. I would really appreciate it if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions.
Do your self a hugh favor and do not try and work on a system you are not familiar with. Your truck doesn't need freon, it need someone to plug in and diagnois the problems inside the a/c control unit.
