Coil-over to EAS reconversion
I recently bought a 01 RR HSE, and the previous owner had already done the suspension conversion. I want to change it back to EAS, and was wondering what I would need to look for as far as removed parts. From what I have read, I would need all four bags, and my eas box under the hood was empty, so I need the valve body and compressor. I also understand that there is a computer that controls this business, but where is that located?
Does the conversion require you to destroy components, or should that stuff, like lines, be intact?
thanks
Ben
P.S. and am I nuts for doing this?

The computer that controls the EAS is the EAS ECU and is located under the drivers seat on the floorboard.
A spring conversion doesn't require any components to be destroyed (however that doesn't mean they weren't). The lines should probably be replaced since if they weren't sealed they've probably built up some gunk and dirt that you wouldn't want in the EAS system.
It's not crazy to switch back. In my opinion Rovers were meant to have EAS because of its off-road strengths. However, unless it's not a concern, it's doesn't make much financial sense as those components are pretty costly.
