Default Considering a Purchase

I just joined this forum today and did so because I am considering buying an '06 Range Rover Sport Supercharged. The Land Rover brand is pretty unfamiliar to me and I have heard a mix of love/hate stories about Land Rover/Range Rover. My question to anyone who is interested is first how do you like your Range Rover and second what kind of failures/common problems should I be aware of?

I don't do any off-roading what so ever. I have done it once with a m-class mercedes at a dealership sponsored event. This will most likely be 95% of the time on road and the 5% may be bad roads or light off-roading

Then Why do you need an SUV at all?

doesn't need one...wants one...nothing wrong with that, especially if you have the dough.
it's a beautiful vehicle...if it is under warranty, then I assume you are pretty much covered.
I do not have one (just a lowly 98 RR SE 4.0)...but i'd get one if I lived outside of NYC and had the bucks.

You will love the new Rover, it is a well built quality vehicle with lots of power and toys.
Good luck,
Mike

The '06 Range Rover Sport with the 400HP SuperCharger is a great SUV. I seen one at the Dealer and it was a great ride. Awsome Suspension and handling and still is Off-Road capable. I like it cuz it's like a High Perfromance Street SUV that can Off-Road too.

You cant go wrong.
