99 RR 4.6 HSE . Are the cooling fans supposed to run all the time. It seems funny that when I start the vehicle the cooling fans are always on even though it is -6 degrees outside. Has done this ever since I got it a few months ago (it was warmer then).

 

No, they will come on for 2 reasons, the engine is warmer then the normal operating temp or your a/c is on. Check and make sure your a/c is set in econo mode and see what happens.

 

What exactly is econo mode? I know I have the button on the Auto Temp Control Head to turn A/C off, but it resets after shutting the engine off. Am I supposed to turn the A/C off everytime I start the vehicle or am I missing something here. Thanks in advance!
