Ok, I ordered and replaced my front and rear air bags. Followed the instructions in the work shop manual, staight forward, no problem but you better have 4 jacks and 4 stands. Well the bags didnt inflate after I started the vehicle, I could hear the compressor running. I ordered the barebones pk for rover renovations, when i inspected the piston the seal was shot. So how do I remove the piston assbly,I can see a recessed hole in the counterbalance that has a hex screw in it.Thanks for any advice

Yes it can be done with two jacks and stands if that's all you've got but it's a REAL pain, as I learned when a bag broke away from home. And I mean a REALLLL pain.
We're talking about the compressor piston assembly with a shot seal correct? If so I e-mailed you a link that should help.

Also, i'm guessing you did since you indicated the seal was shot but, be sure to let the compressor run a few minutes if you depressurized the system as it takes a bit for it to refill.

Regards
