Default eas valve block oring lubricant

Hi i have a 2002 4.6 hse range rover i think i might need to relubricate my orings on the eas valve block whats the best lube for the job silicone? thanks for any help.

I use petroleum jelly on mine. As far as I know that's what most guys use.

exactly... use vaseline, and get new orings

a better option for the O rings is to use Dow Corning 111 its a non setting silicone sealant similar to dilectric grease but its not Dielectric grease.

The DC111 will work well on any rubber you have thats drying out or getting hard, it works best when used on initial assembly of O rings.
Works good on the BMW coolant hose O rings as well they wont dry out and leak
