Hello. I'm looking to place a factory order on a 2018 RRS. I'm being told i need to advance $5k, which is only refundable until the order change date. Is this standard or should i look for another dealership?

Its not that i'm trying to back out, i just want options that favor me.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Also if you have a great dealership in FL to work with, i would love to hear about them.

Call other dealerships and ask them specifically this.

Only dealership I know of is Southpointe (now Wilde LR?) in FL, Pete Sweetster does or did work there, he's got quite the history with LR

 

thank you. Funny coincidence, without reading your post i actually called another dealership in St Pete (asking 2500 deposit) and tried to call Wilde, but they were closing. I will call tomorrow. i appreciate your reply.
