Exclamation Fog Light Install

I have a 1998 P38. It never had fog lights but the wiring was always there. I recently purchased OEM fog lights and installed them and bought a switch for the interior. However when i try to turn them on, the switch will light up saying they are on but the lights wont actually turn on. Am i missing something? any help is greatly appreciated!

There's no OEM fog switch on the dash? But the wiring harness and all were there?

i meant i bought a new one. sorry. But yes the wiring was all there it was basically just plug and play....but now they dont go on. we took an electric line tester and found power going to one light but not the other. would they both not go on if one didnt work? and what could be the reason why no power is getting to the other light?
