Could anyone tell me how to adjust my handbrake on a 2003 range rover. How many clicks should it have??

Default RE: Handbrake adjustment.

it doesnt work very well... its supposed to only take 4 clicks to hold the vehicle, but if its adjusted like this youll overheat the brakes. if it holds the car on a hill, id leave it how it is, dont worry if it takes 6-7 clicks. but to adjust, you adjust the shoes inside the rear rotors, theres a slot, adjust it just like you would normal drum brakes... if you have no expiernce doing this, i would sugest not doing it, it can go horribly wrong
