Default headlight wiper

My left headlight wiper constantly gets stuck under the headlight(between the bumper and the headlight) .I have to manually pull the wiper out from under the headlight. any ideas? the wiper has already nicked the top of my bumper.

Cutting and pasting [8D]...

To solve this problem, he stuck a couple clear plastic bumpers (the thing that you stick to the bottom of items so they will not scratch wood) that he got at a hardware store on to the lights and he has not had to touch the wipers to pull them back up on the lights.

Or

He found that the nut holding the wiper arm onto the shaft was slightly loose. The wiper still worked but would flop a bit. He tightened it up and that cureed it.

Thanks for your response. i have tighten the wiper arm nut but the arm still moves around a bit. the clear bumpers is a good idea. i'll try that.

An 05 has an actual wiper arm on the headlights versus a sprayer only, like the 06's and above?

I ended up pulling the wipper arm off, well partly. ( it was hard as h-ll. i'm not sure but i think i may have broken something cause i heard a loud pop and the then i could move the arm with no resistance). i just move the arm up a little tighten the nut back and it's working now so we'll see how it goes.
