Just finished converting my headlights on my 2004 to the 2006 style. I found 1 site showing wiring diagrams, but they were incomplete and I couldn't understand half the descriptions listed. So, I had to make my own. I've attached it to this post for anyone's reference.

 

normally I would say thats a fools errand going from 04 to 06 but 06 are way way more reliable. Hell havent seen even one HID bulb fail in an 06 and we see .03 to 05 fail from the bulb, the module and even the unit itself.

 

You're right. It's not worth the expense and hardly worth the effort. As for expense, I was lucky enough to get all the parts for free. On effort: I didn't have mine present for comparison. So, for some reason, I thought it would be a simple headlight and grille exchange, plug and play. I wouldn't do it again. If I had free 2010 donor parts, I might, though.
