Default heater probs!!!

help!! my ! came on my ac/controls.. my heater will not blow hot.. i checked the 2 fuses under the hood.. is there a relay or something else i can check??? HELP!

Have you looked in your owner's manual, I know that there is a diagnostic program for the Disco's which is pretty easy to do. Check your manual, if none is listed, you will have to go to the dealer or a shop that has AutoLogic to have it checked.

update.. on the way to work this morning, i noticed that the passenger side was blowing warm/hot but the drivers was cold..

Go to the dealer, cause bottom line even if you evidentily find out what is wrong with it, the dealer will need to be the one to make the repair and reset the system.

Are you talking about a Discovery or a Range Rover? (2000 HSE is what you mentioned) If a RR, then a common part failure that shows the symptoms you describe is the Blend Door actuators, and in some cases it can also be a failure of the main heater control panel which has to be replaced as a complete unit.

yea a 2000 rr HSE.
how do i check for the acuator? i read somewhere its only a resistor that burns out.. true/false?
