Okay so i completely love this body style range rover and am pretty much sold on owning one of these... However, I always go to my mom who is a consumer reports fanatic before i go to personally look at anything because i figure there is no point of they don't think the product is acceptable..

well as you guys may or may not know, comsumer reports does not reccommend a range rover at all as a reliable or practical vehicle...

Why would they completely blast land rovers and range rovers and praise everything that is japanese made?

just wondering if there is something i should know before more seriously considering spending 30000 dollars on a vehicle that may need constant attention.

 

Unfortunately,If everyone subscribed to the doctrine of Consumer Reports, we would all be driving Subaru,Honda and Toyota; not that there is anything wrong with these marques. There are other excellent automobiles that fall outside of the fantastic three. Range Rovers are great,but require attention. These trucks are not "maintenance free" GM products.
