how can I tell which engine is in my car

Default how can I tell which engine is in my car

HI everyone, I need to find out what make of engine my car has, i have a 2001 range rover, I need o know because I want to change fuel filter and to order the part it is important to know what make of engine is it.

It is the BOSCH engine. Its a 4.0L if its an SE or 4.6L if its an HSE. On the BOSCH models the fuel filter is built into the pump and is not serviceable. On GEMS models the fuel filter is on the bottom right of the chassis.

thank you very much, when you mentioned that fuel filter is built into the pump and not serviceable, would you say that it never need to be changed? or do I have to change pump?

I THINK you can take the pump apart to get to it... Not entirely sure. Most people just replace the pump when it starts acting up.
