Default How to permanently Disconnect DCS / Traction control w/o trigerring ABS light

HI. I have a small issue. I need to permanently disconnect DSC/Traction control. So far the only way to do it to disconnect ABS sensor by the wheel. But that triggers my ABS light on the dashboard. Is there any other way to disconnect DSC/traction control completely forever ? Basically vehicle is a stretch limo and traction stops the car in the middle of each turn. Its undrivable. Anybody with a trick?

the length of the vehicle shouldn't make a difference. are the oem rims still on the vehicle?
are you sure they didn't install something incorrectly. too much resistance in one wire can make the vehicle think one wire is spinning faster then the others. not to mention incorrect sensors can do the same thing. they look the same but have different resistance values.

Actually the length of the car triggers traction in corners. It thinks taht they are spinning different. Yes, OEM wheels. Every limo has this issue. There are some fixes for each model - I just dont know one for the Range. Fix is to kill ABS. But that cant pass me with D.O.T. Every fix I did brings the ABS light.

try performing four wheel alignment with the vehicle in regular height with the door open to prevent it from changing. then perform a steering wheel sensor reset procedure with sdd. that should prevent the problem.

you got the cheap version of a limo. the installer should have extended all the wiring including the abs, and the air bag wiring and hoses. not difficult to extend it at all. in fact its done on lincolns all the time. You want this vehicle to pass you better reinstall all the wiring chopped up and the hoses and the airbags. otherwise you are screwed.

Air bags have nothing to do with brakes. Yes, systems are connected and maybe things are off - but traction control is a problem with EVERY limo out there (bags or not bags - same story). Companies just choose to shut if off by disconnecting or removing a fuse.

Rovin - Its not a cheap conversion. All wires are extended. Its all done right way. Even the fiberoptics is extended and working all good.

Wost come to works I will just disconnect ABS for driving and reconnect for DOT inspection. But this is a temp solution. Im looking for a long term solution done the right way.

this is a range rover, not a limo. If you spent the money to take it to a dealer instead of trying to fix it yourself like most limo guys then you would understand the limits of what you are doing and the solutions. But since you are unwilling to bring it to a dealer then oh well deal with the problem.

Rovin - Ok smart ***. Find a dealer that can fit a limo in their door. HUH?? Yeah, that is what I thought. NO DEALER will take a limo or even fit it through its door. They ran away when they hear the word "LIMO". That is why guys like me have to look for solutions online. Grow up Rovin!!

Range Rover - that is the type of brand you drive and love - but that brand doesnt even want to help its customers. Just as bad as Mercedes. No help from dealers or HQ.
Other dealers are glad to take limos into their doors. We had an AUDI, Hummer, BMW and others - no problem. Range Rover dealers dont. They are afraid of work or they are just not skillful enough. I dont know. That is why Range rover is in the top 10 of most problematic cars in the world. Yes, people do buy them I just dont understand why? Probably for show off. We bought ours to make money - nothing else.
