Question How To - Remove License Plate Light Lenses (P38)

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the lenses from the license plate light housing on my 1996 Range Rover 4.0 SE?

The inside lens is very dirty and I would like the clean it off without damaging them.

Later,
Tom

They're actually part of the assembly surrounding the license plate so you have to take off the whole assembly (I believe there are fairly visible screws) and then clean the lenses as best you can. I don't think the lens is made to separate from the assembly.

Ahh.. I thought as much.

Maybe I will just get a new housing... if they are not too expensive?

Do you know of any decent places online where I can find a part like this at a good price?

Later,
Tom

bputah.com or Atlantic-British...They are fairly simple to remove and clean..took me about 15 min. They aren't made to come out. they are actually glued on..You can barely see the glue.. They will break if you try to pry them out..TRUST ME!
