Hello to all. I have a problem and need some help. I have a 2016 Td6 Diesel 2016 110,000 miles. It is fast and wonderful and I love it BUT my tires needed air and I couldn't get the valve know loose so I let the car sit for a few months and the battery went dead. I charged the battery and when tried to turn it on, said something like "car not in park, gear fault." So I had it towed to the dealership who says I need a new transmission. Based on what I have read here, seems like that is not the case. i don't know what to do. I do not think the dealership has ever worked on a Td6 except for mine. In fact 3 years ago, took Td6 to dealership for an oil change and came out 8 months later with a new engine (they had done something to blow my engine). I don't trust them, but supposedly I had a warranty that is now expired, just in time. I need a little more information regarding mechanics, I haven't had any issues with the car until my battery died. No gears stuck, no weird sounds. Any help would be appreciated and need recommendations (if this is allowed) on mechanics in my area. thanks
