Default humming noise in dash

I know this was a topic on the forum several months ago, but I have really been noticing this humming sound coming from the front dash area now. It seems that it starts when the speed of the vehicle increases. It usually starts over 40mph.

I took it into the dealer when I went for my scheduled maintenance 2 days ago. They said they have had numerous customers mention this. It is the front dash that needs to be re-sealed. They said they have to re-seal the front dash and let it dry. It will need to be at the dealer 3-4 hrs.

Any other experiences with this?

I have not experienced this with my '07. Is it the ECU cooling fan that you hear? That wouldn't exactly jive with the 40 mph but that was my first guess.

What kind of RR do you have? This is a pretty common problem with the MKIII (L322) Check this link out: http://rangerovers.net/rrmkiiiremedies.html#windvibe
