Default The Inferno

My Rover is so poor at temperature managment. In the winter it just bleeds heats from the vents. Tonight I had it set to 72 when I first got in but then had it down to the coolest setting (60 degrees) after about 5 minutes because it was SO hot. When I mean hot I am talking about opening the window in 12 degree weather to cool it down kind of hot.

In the super cold I do not keep the AC on as I feel that it is not necessary but perhaps I should.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is this something I should have the dealer look at or is it par for the course?

Pretty sure they're all like this. I do wish the automatic temperature setting did work a little better though, but fidgeting with it isn't too bad. I'm just glad it works so well!

I thought that it was normal as I remember asking one other owner with the same answer. You are right, auto is better but still hot. I might start keeping the AC on to see if I can approach normal.

There are a series of 5 servos beneath the dash one controls the floor and rear blend door its stuck, its a bitch to get at it and the mechanic might send you a letter bomb but no, not normal. scott

The servos just operate the blend motor doors... they have nothing to do with the temperature of the heater. Air flow yes but not temperature.
