Default Interior lighting at 50%

My interior lights work perfectly as long as you open either front door. But if you open the back seat doors NO LIGHT. Is this common? I know other car manufacturers have settings so that the light never turns on or it stays on if needed while you are in the car or it turns on when you open any door. Any help with this question is appreciated. My wife asked me why does it do this and I did not have a clue why it was wired that way. Small issue but you guys are the best to ask.

have you tried the rear hatch too? There is a setting on mine to prevent the lights from coming on when the door is open. If you press and hold the center light button in the front, eventually you will hear "beep" and then you will see "interior lights off" or something on the dash. My lights do come on when I open any door on the rig.

Yeah look through the owners manual and see what the process is, they should come on with all the doors.

I will check out the owners manual. I have misplaced it and had to call out for help to the forum. Thanks men for the feedback!
