L322 sheered bolt securing tensioner to a/c compressor
Hi all,
Wife's 2005 Rover blew up the other night, with (newly installed) belts derailing. I thought the tensioner securing the compressor drive belt failed, but on closer inspection discovered the the M8x65mm running through a bushing on the tensioner assembly into the a/c compressor has sheered! Not sure how the heck might be the way to go after this annoying failure. Don't really want to remove a/c compressor (no experience with such) but not sure if it's even possible to remove the sheered bolt from compressor with compressor installed.
Curious if anyone else has seen this and/or if anyone has any ideas.
Many thanks for thoughts!!
