Lazy seatbelts
I'm not sure if this is a common issue, but the seatbelts in my Range Rover don't retract very well leading to people closing them in the door. Is there a simple fix for this or do I just need to buy new seatbelts?
Thanks,

Mine do the same thing... Unfortunatley it says in the service manual that they are "oiled" for life so there is not much we can do about it. If you want, you can try greasing it up a bit and see if that helps, but be wary. Its safety you are dealing with.
Interesting. I'll give it a try. I have noticed that the driver's side works great even though it gets the most use, leading me to believe that the others are not worn out.
Just an update...I used spray silicone on the belts and the surfaces that they slide on and problem solved. Easiest thing I ever fixed on the RR.
