Default Location of Cruise Control ECU

Need to know where the Cruise Control ECU is located in a 2000 RR 4.6 L Vitesse. I suspect it is under or behind the glove compartment. Please advise. If possible, need advise on how to remove and replace it. Thanks.

Actually it is just above your left knee while you are seated in the drivers seat. Pull off the lower panel you almost have to lay on your back to see it. It has an aluminum housing and is slightly larger than a deck of cards.

Smile Location of Cruise Control ECU

Thanks abunch for the info. I have already installed the Cruise control ECU (Used one); however, the cruise control still does not work. Land Rover dealership did the diagnosis and advised that another ECU is needed. Hence, I decided to get a used one. However this used one does not work. I thank you very much for the info.

Don't forget to check the power inverter and the switch.
