I currently have a 2003 range rover at the dealer. It was towed there a month ago. They say that the engine won't start. By the way that it was driving the night that i had it towed. It seemed clogged. When I tried excelerating the engine would rev high,but there was no horsepower. It had all it could do to hit 55 mph. Could this be do to a clogged catalyst? Anyhow I really need to locate and honest shop to evaluate the truck and if needed give a quote to put a used engine in it.

Do you need someone to look at it? if it runs then it could be a number of things. to say it needs a motor it would imply that something broke. I can take a look at it on a weekend if you need me to. probably needs a jumper battery but it could be something else. Perhaps a transmission if it revs high but no horsepower.
