I've been reading up on smartkey problems, but I have one that works fine, the other not at all. No issues with the car itself.. So it's not the electronics, in all likelihood. New battery in it... Is there a trick to pair a previously dead key on the car, or is it a dealer trip on day #2 !!!

 

I think the only way you can do that is to go to the dealer. If just anyone could re-program the codes that would be a problem.

 

Is there a blade on the key, or is it just one of those key fob types?
