Newbie Looking to Buy
I'd say go to my web-site and read the tech info pages (http://www.eurotekapg.com/techinfo.html) There are numerous items specific to a Range Rover that you need to be aware of before buying one. And yes --- if you are not mechanically inclined, get a PPI done by someone knowledgeable on these vehicles. At our shop next door, it is not unusual for a customer who just bought a P38 Range Rover (1995-2002) finding out that it needs $2-3K of work that was put off by the previous owner.

Check out www.bvlr.com. They should be able to find one for you if they don't already have one.
I pretty mechanical Geo and your site was great. I think I can use that as my own checklist. Can I ask the collective a pretty basic question? What's the real facination with these. I've got Ducati motorcycles, a '84 Porsche and do alot of my own wrenching. What do you guys really like about these vehicles?

I have 2 Ducatis as well. I have a 05' 999s and a 2000 750SS Half fairing. I can tell you that everything you like about the ducatis (aside from the sound) you will find in the Rover. It's the top of the class, as good as it gets in SUV's. I have a 2003 RR and love it.
