Hey guys,
This is my first post here. I used to be into off roading a couple years back, but other commitments kind of killed that off. I used to have a modified Touareg which I took through Death Valley several time. Anyways, I think I've got the desire back. After watching the Top Gear Bolivian special...it was cemented.
This is what I'd like to do.
1988-1992 Range Rover.
-Turbo diesel engine
-Reliable tranny
-?" lift
Basically I'd like to outfit it for an eventual trip around the world. One trip I'd like to do sooner is from Seattle down to the tip of South America.
Anyone looking to help me would be appreciated. I've never done a RR before.
Thanks,
Alex

Because I can find a rrc for a hell of a lot cheaper. Hell, I can probably do the entire project for less than a defender costs. I've also liked how they look so I figured it would be a great platform to use. If you think otherwise, please let me know.
So far I've researched a couple products..
3" suspension lift from Rovertym.
ARB air lockers
ARB Deluxe Bar
33" superswamper tsl/thornbird
