Default Ongiong Coolant system issues with my 2003 Range HSE

This is the 3rd time this has happened. My truck dumps out all of the coolant and the battery dies. I had the alternator, water pump, coolant reservoir, and accessory belt replaced. Does anyone know what in the world is going on here? Anyone else have this issue? Please Help!

Try having a ground run from temp gauge to frame.

Is the truck dumping the coolantvery rapidly out the overflow? Is it steaming off slowly? Anything coming out the tailpipe? Do you see any coolant in the oil? This will help us narrow down what is happening.

Also how old is the battery and have you had it tested?

It has a major leak if it is dumping coolant everywhere. Get it serviced ASAP!

My mechanic told me hose clamp busted, again, in a different place. He replaced it. As far as the battery, it is only about one year old. I did buy it a Autozone because the dealer was not open the last time it died. My mechanic told me it was a cheap battery, even though it was well over $200.00. He did replace it with an Interstate battery made for the Range ROver. He also ended up replacing the oil filter housing cap because it was leaking, and it wasn't the oil filter seal.

This is wierd, but I was driving on the freeway when it dumped out the coolant, and the whole back of the truck was covered with coolant. I didnt see any coming out of the tail pipes, just a coolant slick alont the bottom of the truck. I guess I will take it to the dealer, unless anyone knows of a great LR mechanic in the Orange County, Long Beach area?

Thank you all for the input I appreciate it!

Just replace the clamp and refill the radiator with dexcool, the dealer does not have to do that, any competent mechanic should be able to refill it (make sure they follow the service manual procedures on rave). The battery dying might be an electrical short or something staying on that is not supposed to when you turn the rover off.

You might want to have all the clamps replaced if they have not already, the issue will just keep reoccurring until all the clamps have been replaced anyways. Except coolant will dump out every time when the next one fails.
