Default The outside light sensor

I have a 2007 Range Rover Sport. I've had it since March. Just in the last few days, the lights have been turning on when I go to work and when I return (not at lunch time) even though it is sunny (even to the point of needing sunglasses). The manual refers to the auto headlights coming on when the "ambient" light goes low enough, but this is just normal bright days.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Default RE: The outside light sensor

The sensor is built onto the windshield in the same location as the rain sensor. Do your auto intermitent wipers work properly ? Is something covering it ? (the dark blue area center top) if everything is ok the sensor can be swapped to conferm if it is operating normally by your Dealer ,or just compare it to another vehicle in inventory. [8D]
