Is this what yours reads at 60 miles an hour? What should it be at idle?
Very curious.

that sounds about right to me... idle should be around 600-700 I believe. I am sure someone out there knows exactly what the correct range is without looking it up...

700, +/-20 rpms... from the LR Workshop Manual.

Thank you Messenjah07! Just wondered it changes much with high mileage vehicles. Anyone else out there care to share what there 4.6 02 or 01 HSE idles at or reads when its at 60 miles an hour on the highway for instance. All feedback is welcomed.
