my 1995 RR with the 4 litre (Left hand drive) has been sitting in my driveway for nearly a month now with the engine immobilized.When it would work
it would run ok for a few days then all of a sudden, no starting , nothing some times it would start after 20 mim or so sometimes it took 24 hours .
after trail and error with the eka code, no luck either,(Battery is charged)
dash lights up when you turn on the ignition. The drivers door would never unlock with the remote
I came to the conclusion that it may be the left side door actuator
so i bought a used one how was i to know there are at least 3 different ones
that fit
my original one has the wiring harness attached ,
the used one as the wiring harness that plugs into the actuator .
Are they compatible? i did plug the new used one into the connector but nothing happened i dont think it was getting power

i did get the new actuator installed and its working seems it was the black lead that wasn't secure.
unfortunately the engine is still immobilized , will i have to get it towed to land rover dealer to get it running?
