As the title states, Today I think I experienced most "expensive" failures. Gearbox failure and intermittent traction failure. Every time I hit a bump or something along the road, the dash will illuminate ABS and TC light along with traction failure. Also, when I was trying to accelerate from a red light, the tranny was stuck in 4/5th gear. it would not downshift. Any suggestions or ideas? Also, the AC cut off, along with the radio, speedometer and all electronics in car but engine was still running. Never had that happen before. Yesterday, I plugged my phone charger in the 12v circuit and every electronic just restarted as if I restarted the car, even though it was still running.

 

if it happens every time you hit a bump i would have to think a loose wire or ground, have you started checking any of them yet?
