Default p38 Misfire Codes 0300, 0304, 0305, 0307, 0308

My SES came on this morning (no issues prior today). As I was leaving my neighborhood, the light began flashing. It stopped pretty quickly. I also noticed it wasn't accelerating well and under full power. I got to where I needed to be and when I started to come home the SES was on but it seemed to be running "okay", definitely not at full power but not as rough as the ride out.

Check the codes when I got home and the above came up. I've found lots of these thread and I realize it could be a lot of different issues. Any suggestions. My plugs and wires are fairly new. I have had a coolant leak. I put more coolant into the resevoir every few days. It's never empty. I just wonder if some coolant couldn't gotten in.

Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have cleared the codes and will take it back out around the neighborhood to see if it comes back on. Thanks for helping this newbie.

It would be quite a problem to have coolant in 4 cylinders at once... pull and check one of those four plugs to eliminate that possibility.

More likely a coil issue if plugs and wires are new and there is no coolant inside.

Still you shouldn't be driving with a coolant leak like that... When was the last head gasket job done?

Job number one is to park it and find the source of that leak.
